Charity House

Built by Bryan & Petersen Warrnambool for The Peters Project Foundation

Project: Warrnambool Charity House Auction

It has long been the belief at Bryan and Petersen Warrnambool that without the community we simply don’t have a business. What makes our business strong is community based people, whether it be the people we build for or the trades and suppliers we employ. It’s the strength of the community that shapes our business. With this community serving philosophy, Bryan & Petersen Warrnambool are proud of their involvement, along with the support of their local trades in a major community project, The Peters Project - Charity House. Proceeds of the auction of this fabulous home will go to the Peter’s Project Foundation, and will support the comfort needs of regional patients and their families, at the South West Regional Cancer Centre, assisting regional cancer treatment programs and scholarships / training for cancer related medical staff.

"Living in the community we have seen the hardships endured on people when they have had to travel for lifesaving treatment and the pressures that can place on the family unit," said manager of B&P Warrnambool, Andrew Austen. "The sad fact is many of us have seen this disadvantage first hand and this was the motivation for us to approach Peter’s Project with the concept of building a charity home. I am extremely proud to say that our local trades people and suppliers have contributed to this amazing home. It’s an absolute testament to their character and commitment to this community. Their incredible generosity towards this charity home has been more than humbling. Their donations and dedication have exceeded our expectations and we simply can’t thank them enough for what they have been able to achieve. At Bryan and Petersen we are surrounded by amazing staff, trades and suppliers who genuinely care about the homes we create and the strong friendships we make along the way. This project has allowed us to express our gratitude to the community that has given us so much over the years and we are all truly honoured to contribute to a cancer centre that will allow all who visit to be surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of their community. A massive thank you to all who contributed, you can all be extremely proud of what you have been able to achieve." The home is open for inspection Saturdays and Sunday from the 14th February until 28th March from 1pm - 4pm.
